For our last Monday meeting we were planning a guest speaker but she couldn't come so instead we went outside and played bocce and ninja.

Writing day

This week for our Monday activity we had a crazy writing day. We each had to write a begining to a story then we folded all but a half sentence and passed it to the next person who finshed that sentence, folded it back and added a half sentence of their own and then passed it along until we got to the end of the page. We had some really strange stories by the end.

Collections

This week we each brought one of our collections to share.
Katelyn brought her collection of ticket stubs.
Brit brought his state quarter collection.
Coeby brought her Webkinz.
Keren brought her rocks.
Amanda brought a picture of her stuffed animals.

November 14th meeting

Today we had a smaller group than usual. We started out by playing word search games and then we learned how to make this blog. Our next meeting will be on Friday December 12th because the 4th Friday of November is Thanksgiving weekend. Did we have fun today? Most of us did...

Creating the South Valley Teens Blog

We're creating this blog because if someone has to miss the activities one of the weeks they can go back and see what they missed. We meet the second and fourth Fridays from 1-3 and we'd love feed back if this is a good time. We want to be able to post pictures of our activities so you can be jealous of what we did. And we hope that its a good way to stay connected, not the jealousy just the blog.
